Frequently Asked Questions

We have incorporated classroom teaching techniques with the ease of online education to give our internet courses that human touch. They are comprised of reading material that we’ve uploaded straight from our books, video & PowerPoint presentations from our instructor, and quizzes throughout to help you retain what you’ve learned. At the end, you will take a final exam. Once passed, we will issue you a certificate and you will have access to our state/national review simulations.

Our courses are user-friendly and go-at-your-own-pace. Each course has a subscription period and you will be able to begin immediately after purchase. You may login/logout at any time and your progress will be recorded.

We can renew your subscription and re-enroll you into your course where you can pick back up right where you left off. The re-activation fee is based on how long it has been since you last accessed your course; if it has been less than a year it will be $25.00. While our reading material and quizzes are compatible with mobile devices, our presentations sometimes aren’t. We use Adobe products to create these presentations. If you are taking our course on a mobile device, we recommend that you download the free app Presenter Mobile by Adobe. You will be able to view everything else on your web browser, but for the presentations, you will need to copy and paste the link into the Presenter Mobile app in order to view it.

Real Estate Prelicensing and Contractor Continuing Education:

These videos are .mp4 files, which means they are high in quality, but very large. Sometimes these can take a few minutes to “buffer”, or load. You may have to pause the video for 5-10 minutes and come back to it when it is fully loaded. Here are some tips for faster buffering:

  1. Use a desktop computer that is plugged directly into the ethernet (internet cable).
  2. If using a laptop, tablet, or other mobile device, make sure you are connected to a strong Wi-Fi (wireless internet connection).
(If you are using an office Wi-Fi or other public Wi-Fi that several other people are connected to, this is an example of a weak connection.)
  3. If using a mobile device, always connect to a Wi-Fi. Do not use a 3G, 4G, or LTE connection, as these will be the slowest and
should only be used as a last resort.
  4. We have had the best results with our presentations when using the web browsers Google Chrome.

All other courses (insurance, continuing education, etc.):

We use Adobe products to create our presentations. Sometimes your computer may require you to download an audio add-in from the Adobe website. It is called Adobe Connect 9 Meeting Add-In. This will work for all courses except for Real Estate Prelicensing.

Windows

Macs

After the download is complete, restart your computer and log back in to your course. You may have to click on a presentation two or three times to activate the add-in.

If you still encounter issues, download this .pdf with step-by-step instructions on troubleshooting the audio.
