- 3 hours covering flood training.
- 2 hours covering legislative updates in insurance law (effective July 2027).
- Courses must align with the specific lines the producer is licensed for.
Bail Bond Producers
Agents are required to complete 12 hours every renewal period.
- At least 6 hours must focus on bail enforcement education.
- Only bail bond-specific courses count toward this requirement.
Title Producers
Agents must complete 12 hours every renewal period, including:
- 2 hours of consumer financial protection.
- Only title-specific courses qualify for CE credits.
Adjusters (Claims and Public)
Agents are required to complete 24 hours each renewal period. This includes:
- 3 hours on ethics.
- 2 hours on legislative updates in insurance law (effective July 2027).
- Only adjuster continuing education courses can fulfill this requirement.
Additional Notes
- Avoid Repeat Courses: Credit is not granted if the same course is taken within a 24-month period.
- Carry-Over Credits: Life, health, and property/casualty producers can carry forward up to 10 general CE hours to the next renewal period. However, flood, ethics, and legislative update hours cannot roll over as mandatory hours.
